Rahim Shah enthrals audience

Popular folk and pop singer Raheem Shah and two of the Chotey Ustad participants Moon and Fareeha rocked the audience at the music concert organised by Pakistan National Council of the Arts at National Art Gallery on Monday. The show titled ‘Future and Traditions’ was a part of PNCA’s programme ‘Mehfil-e-Mausiqi’ for promoting musical heritage of the country and providing high quality of entertainment to music lovers.

Director General PNCA Tauqeer Nasir said that Pakistan treasures a rich variety of culture and tradition that together becomes a bouquet of flowers with refreshing fragrance. He said that PNCA aims to promote and preserve all the vibrant cultural colours of Pakistan.

Raheem Shah has earned name and fame from his enriched vocals and high quality music in regional colours worldwide while the little master’s Moon and Fareeha introduced the budding talent of Pakistani youngsters at international forum in Chotey Ustad.

Away from the hustle bustle of routine life and tensions, the music lovers had a soothing time at the concert. The jam-packed auditorium remained captivated as the artists performed various popular numbers throughout the show. The concert opened with performances by Moon and Fareeha Kareem from Faisalabad. Both the young signers excelled in India while participating in the Chotey Ustad show. The audience enjoyed their classical, semi classical, folk and popular songs.

Raheem Shah received standing ovation and the audience rocked and danced with each of his songs. Raheem Shah made the concert a beautiful bouquet of all regional languages by presenting his hit numbers in Urdu, Pushto, Balochi, Punjabi, and Sindhi.
