Congratulations! - Ali Hamza now a Dad
Nearly one week after Ali Azmat announced the birth of his daughter, there has been another celebrity baby. Ali Hamza of the band Noori, and his wife Nafisa are now proud parents of a baby boy! The couple tied the knot in Lahore nearly a year and a half ago.
Noori has been in the news for its T20 World Cup song “Dilwalo Khelo Tum”, which has been shared by excited cricket fans on Facebook and Twitter.

Sur Kshetra: Music to bridge Pakistan-India divide
MUMBAI: The idea was to unite two uneasy neighbours through melody and music and what better platform than the reality show “Sur Kshetra” that brings together singing talents from India and Pakistan, says Pakistani composer-actor-singer Atif Aslam.
Live from Saturday, the Indian show has a heavy dose of Pakistani flavour. Aslam will be seen mentoring singers from Pakistan and Bollywood playback singer Himesh Reshammiya will be seen with the Indian team. The judges are three South Asian singing legends — India’s Asha Bhosle, Pakistan’s Abida Parveen and Bangladesh’s Runa Laila.

Bollywood has room for singers from all over: Shafqat Amanat Ali
The India-Pakistan bond is "above all disputes", says Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali, the magical voice behind chartbusters like "Tere Naina" and "Mitwa", who believes that Bollywood has room for singers from all over the world.
"It's a huge market and I think with Bollywood growing so much, there is room for singers, not just from Pakistan but from all over the world which we can see," said Shafqat in an email interview.
